Most people would say you should listen to the home alarm system all the time, then there are people that think the alarms go off because of reasons like bad weather.
It might surprise you to know that there are people that just do not listen, in the news every once in a while you will see a homeowner who has an ADT home security system and when it goes off they think it is a false alarm.
Recently in the news there was a family that had their ADT alarm system go off as a smoke alarm during the night and because it was storming outside they turned it off thinking it was a false alarm. Well they were wrong and could have been in big trouble if they did not have dogs. Their dogs started barking and would not stop so the wife got up to see why they were barking and then smelled the smoke.
If it was not for the family pets they could have been in serious trouble and it was all due to not paying heed to an ADT smoke alarm.
ADT home security is good protection from burglars but it is also great for monitoring other problems like smoke and fire. When this alarm goes off because of the monitoring center there is no lost time getting the family out, while the monitoring center alerts the authorities.
There are many benefits with ADT and the fact that any home can be fitted for a home security system means everyone can be protected and there are different ADT home security packages.
